Hello,
Today I was outside and all of a sudden I heard a strange noise. It sounded like a baby kitten crying, so I looked around and then looked up, to my surprise it was a Bat. Well I am not a fan of bats.......but it brought back so many memories of summer. Like when I was in 3rd grade we were playing basketball with some of the neighbors and all these bats started swarming all around us, it was so neat. Bats eat mosquitoes, and it is dusk when you start to see them come out. Last year Rebekah, Mom, Dad, and I were hanging up pool towels and a bat flew right between Rebekah and Mom it was kinda scary. So after reading this you are probably thinking wow this girl is a bat lover, or loves the movie ''Twilight''. Well, I don't love bats though I do like that they eat mosquitoes, and the movie/book "Twilight" I also don't like nor have I read/seen it. I don't want to read/see it, and don't see myself doing so in the future. So that is what happened to night and I can't wait until summer is here, bats and all!

Rain, Rain and more Rain!!!
HI,
When will the rain end? When I was drying Stephens hair, I tried to explain to Stephen that God had his own bowling team. And when ever it would thunder it was God and the Angels having a game. Stephen did not understand me but when we came up stairs Madison made the comet that it must be bowling season up there. I could not help but laugh, that must be the new joke at our house. The girls and I use to always joke about the bowling. Well maybe the season will end soon maybe. Well the rain is good for the grass and the earth. So I guess I should not complain.

Time / blogging
Hi
Well I am sorry for not blogging, how is it that my sister (Elizabeth) can do art, blog and spend time with the Family? Here I am trying to read, blog, practice guitar and spend time with the family!!! I will tell you why She knows how to manage her time. She is so neat I wish I could manage my time like her. Well I could if I really wanted too. Elizabeth has picked up on the Great Doggie Doos blog. So for all those who wanted to see Great Doggie Doos but never got the chance go check it out it looks really nice, She dose a good job.

Where have you Been?
You may ask why is this post called (where have you been)? Well a lot of people asked were have you been? I am still here on the earth (physically) yet my head is some where else. Mowing season is starting back so my head goes for a loop.
To bring you up to speed we took a trip. It went really good. If you want some fun than spend time with your family, rent an RV. The one thing that was bad (other then getting stuck) was only ONE BATHROOM for 11 people, we were knocking on the door a lot. It seems that every one had to go at the same time. Mt. Rushmore was awesome and Canada was cold, and so much fun. The family we visited the Pauls' were so much like us, only big difference is they take care of farm animals, and we take care of dogs. While there Jennifer taught us how to milk cows. I helped Megan with some chores and was thankful for the job I have at home. It was much harder than I thought. Way to go Megan I can't wait till you and your family come to visit, and I can show you my work. Megan is my age, and one of the first things I asked is when your family goes out do people start counting y'all? She said yes, it was so neat to know were not the only ones. Also it was neat to see Megan, Jennifer, and Kerri make two plates (1 for their little brother and 1 for their self) it didn't make me feel so funny. So many times people look at my sisters and I funny for making 2 plates instead of 1, we see this as part of having a servants heart. The Penners friends of the Pauls' invited us to their house, they have 8 kids in their family. They were so nice, and we hope to see them next time we go to Canada. On the way home our generator broke, so we were stuck in Grand Forks ND for a few days. It was nice to have some down time(when I mean down time I mean a time to sit still and not get sick.) I got motion sickness so I had to be on meds (Dramamine) with the other 2. What do you mean other 2? Well Madison came down with strep right before we left, and Elizabeth came down with something. Also while at the Pauls' we got the throw up bug. What a trip, really to be honest I liked the RV trip better then going to Disney sorry Mickey:(
Mean while its good to be home call me Dorothy there's no place like home. I am reading a book called Hope Rising. One of my moms friends knows how much I love horses, and said I should read this book. So far it is great, I will let you know more when I'm finished. Before we left I read a 300 page book on The sinking of the Titanic. Great book if you like history read it, there were things that I had know idea happened. I cried a lot, so have something to dry your tears on. Last week was spring break for the schools, meaning we got back in the swing of things fast at work. It is so nice outside, the weather is rainy some days and sunny the next. I'm sorry for just now posting something. You see there is not enough time in the day, or I could say I don't type fast so I don't post a lot. OR truthfully maybe I'm a bit lazy and I'm a procrastinator. Whatever you want to call it I will try to post something sooner next time.

The New Year
Its a new day it a new day its a new year. I look back at last year and see all the good and bad Happy and sad pleasant and scary times the times on the mountain and the times in the valley. If you were to ask me if I was able to change a thing I would have to say no, all the times we have had this year are all growing times. I hope you have had a good year I know I did, just looking back knowing I got the joy of waking up to another day.

Christmas Shoes
Hello,
Have you ever heard the song ''Christmas Shoes''? Have you ever seen the Movie? I shall never forget the first time I heard that song when it first came out 4 years ago. (when my Father had cancer.) I shall never forget the tears that filled my eyes. Last year we got the movie while on vacation. Before my Father gave it to me he told me he should have gotten a box of Kleenex to go with it. Well he was right (like always). On the way home everyone was asleep (dad and mom were awake of course) so mom turned it on for me. I was seated next to Wesley so I grabbed his spit up rag (that didn't have any spit up on it) I needed something to dry my tears. At this point I really did need a box of Kleenex. After the movie was over dad looks back at me and starts to laugh. He told me he looked back and all he saw was tears pouring down my face. The whole point to this story is this movie is the best movie. So if you haven't seen the movie or heard the song you should. It will make you think and appreciate the ones you love. It will also make you ask yourself where are you going.......when your time is up and what did you do with your time while here? Which in the end is all that really matters...live today as if it's your last!
